A BREN-GUN Mk I EXPERIMENTAL SPIDER SIGHT WITH ASSEMBLY, circa 1950s, 4 in. diameter sight with mounting, plus clamp mount with screws and wing-nuts, this is a WWII style sight ring mounted on an offset post with indented bar that is fixed into a more recent barrel clamp designed to protrude from the left side of the barrel and the off-set in the post puts the ring further to the left to be directly in line with the Bren Mark 1/1* series drum back sight which was off-set due to the magazine, these were found in Turkey in the early 1990s attached to Bren barrels and are believed to be a Middle-eastern adaptation, 10 in. max. length
